Bermuda holds a special place in my heart, and no matter how many times I visit, I always find something new to explore while revisiting my favorite spots. Whether it’s the fresh bloom of spring or the crisp air of late November, each season offers a unique charm that keeps me coming back for more.

Favorite spots:

Horseshoe Bay Beach

Famous for pink sands and turquoise waters. Best experienced by walking past the rock formations to a quiet, secluded area.

Moon Gates

Resemble portals from Stargate—a magical, storybook touch to the island. Local legend ties them to marriage and happiness with the circular stone arches symbolizing good luck and new beginnings

Tom Moore’s Jungle

Lush, vibrant trails with hidden caves and crystal-clear blue pools. A surreal, nature-filled retreat perfect for reconnecting.

St. George

Wahoo’s Bistro is a favorite restaurant to locals & travelers alike. From their famous Wahoo nuggets to their award-winning fish chowder, this is a great spot for local seafood and amazing harbor views.

One of the most iconic places in Bermuda is Horseshoe Bay Beach. Its pink sands and turquoise waters make it a must-visit, but my favorite way to experience it is to walk all the way down the shoreline, past the two large rock formations. Beyond them lies a quieter, more secluded area—perfect for soaking in the beauty of Bermuda away from the crowds. The gentle waves and soft sands make it an idyllic retreat.

Another gem that enchants me every time is Tom Moore’s Jungle. This lush, vibrant paradise feels like stepping into a dream. The winding trails lead through dense greenery, revealing hidden caves and crystal-clear blue pools that invite you to take a refreshing dip. The mix of nature’s colors—deep greens, electric blues, and earthy browns—creates an almost surreal landscape, making it one of my favorite places to reconnect with nature.

Bermuda is full of surprises, and each visit is a new adventure. Whether it’s discovering a tucked-away beach, stumbling upon a new local eatery, or immersing myself in the island’s rich history, there is always something to make my trip special. The island’s charm, vibrant culture, and natural beauty continue to inspire my love for travel.

One of Bermuda’s charming and symbolic landmarks is the Moon Gates. These beautiful circular stone archways are scattered throughout the island, and local legend says that newlyweds who walk through them together will have a life filled with good luck and happiness. Even if you’re not a newlywed, passing through a Moon Gate is a magical experience, symbolizing new beginnings and cherished moments. For fans of the TV show Stargate, these arches bear a striking resemblance to the iconic portals from the series—though, unfortunately, they don’t transport you to another world! Still, standing within their frame feels like stepping into a story of mystery and adventure.

No matter the season, Bermuda is a destination that never ceases to amaze. If you haven’t been yet, I highly recommend adding it to your travel list. And if you have, you already know—it’s the kind of place that keeps calling you back.
